The house is spacious and set within its own private walled garden. There is a garage and parking for 4 to 5 cars on the driveway. It backs onto a field. Walks begin at the front door. Shops are a short walk away. A car is essential to have a really good holiday here and to be able to visit beautiful places and tourist attractions. There are buses to both Krakow and Zakopane, plus a train to Zakopane but everything is so much easier with your own transport. Places to visit and things to do: Take a look at the Photo Gallery for things to do in Krakow and nearby. The town is surrounded by lovely scenery of the Gorce Hills with fabulous hill walking. The hill directly behind the house is called Maciejowa and the walk to the 'pancake palace' is well worth the effort. Horse riding and quad bikes are available locally, also cheap cycle hire.
