Poland is an unspoilt mainly rural country with fabulous open unfenced countryside.
There are paths and quiet roads for horse riding all over Poland.
The scene on the left is at the top of Maciejowa Hill in Rabka Zdroj, a small spa town in the Beskids, Malopolska. There are stables in Rabka and horse riding lessons if required.
The path over Maciejowa goes into the Gorcrzanski National Park for miles of peaceful carefree horse riding.
Horses remain part of everyday life in Poland, for pulling carts and sledges, helping with ploughing and the harvest, rides for tourists. |
